What To Do If You Are Injured While Working

Employee On-The-Job Injuries or Illnesses

Under the New York State Employee Compensation Act, all university employees are covered for any on-the-job injuries or illnesses while on any of the Molloy campuses. All incidents must be immediately reported to the employee’s supervisor and an injury report must be completed by a Molloy University Public Safety Officer. Failure to report an injury may result in delayed payments or loss of workers’ compensation.

If you have any restrictions your doctor’s note must include what type(s) of restriction(s) you have. If you require an accommodation, you must fill out an Accommodation Request Form and Human Resources will be in touch with you to discuss next steps.
