Faculty Consultations
The Office of Blended & Online Learning offers faculty one-on-one and group support for designing quality web-enhanced, hybrid and online courses. Our instructional designers (IDs) are experienced educators who are trained in quality course design practices and can help faculty to achieve their vision for the course, using the technology tools at their disposal.
Design Partners
IDs work with faculty to help them achieve the faculty's vision for their course with optimal utilization of the available technology. Instructional designers take on many different roles to help faculty design quality courses at Molloy:
- importing and adjusting content into a course,
- designing a course from the bottom up, using the flexible Molloy Course Design Model,
- brainstorming to resolve challenges or save time during course delivery,
- training faculty to use appropriate technology tools and advise them of new ones that may be a better fit for their needs.
