AHA Basic Life Support Certification Course
Course Number: NU-0092
Tuition: $95. Molloy University Student $85
Faculty: Certified American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructors.

This hour course is designed for health care providers. The course is composed of instruction in basic life support, the automatic external defibrillator, as well as technical aspects of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Classes are held during the day, evening and weekends at both Rockville Centre locations (main campus and at 30 Hempstead Avenue) and the Suffolk Center throughout out the year. This course should be taken for your initial certification or if your certification has expired.

AHA Renewal Life Support Certification Course
Course Number: NU-0093
Tuition: $80: Molloy University Students $70
Faculty: Certified American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructors.

This course is designed for health care providers who need to renew their basic life support certification. Classes are held during the day, evening and weekends at both Rockville Centre locations (main campus and at 30 Hempstead Avenue) and the Suffolk Center throughout out the year. A current BLS healthcare provider card is required to register for the renewal course.

AHA Basic Life Support Instructor Course
Course Number: NU0094
Tuition: $375 (includes manual and card)
Instructor: Camille Twardzik

The healthcare instructor course provides the instructor candidate with the knowledge and skills to conduct basic life support (BLS) education according to AHA standards. Candidates will be guided in the development of teaching techniques an CPR concepts through lecture and manikin practice. The course is typically offered during the day for two sessions, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. each session at both our Rockville Centre locations (main campus and/or at 30 Hempstead Avenue).

AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course
Course Number: NU-0097
Tuition: $285
Faculty: Certified American Heart Association ACLS Instructors.

This course is designed for people in the health care field. The course is composed of instruction in Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED. Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest, airway management, and related pharmacology will also be presented. Management of ACS and strokes as well as effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team will be taught.

AHA Advanced Pediatric Life Support (PALS) Course
Course Number: NU-0099.
Tuition: $285.
Faculty: Certified American Heart Association Instructors.

The on-site course is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personal in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
