Sister Mary Celeste Lecture Series

The Sister Mary Celeste Lecture Series offers individual courses in a variety of areas, offered in-person during the day for one or more sessions in Rockville Centre.   Topics may include, current events, music, art, literature, history, finance, heath, philosophy, technology and more. Whether you’re interested in dabbling in a new hobby or just trying to keep up with technology, there’s a class out there for you.

Schedule of Classes and Tuition
Courses are offered in-person during the day, typically for one or two sessions for 1½ hours for each session. Courses are offered throughout the year on Mondays and Thursdays. You can take classes at your own pace.  You can take one course or as many as you like. You can start at any time. Each session is $30, double sessions are $60.

Location
Courses are offered off-campus at: 30 Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre, about 2½ miles south of the main campus. It's just across the street from the playground of St. Agnes Cathedral School.  The classrooms are located on the second floor just down the hall from the Office of Continuing Education. Classroom assignments and travel directions will be emailed just prior to the start date of classes.

Registration:
Students should register for your course(s) at least one week prior to the start of classes to insure enough time for you to get your confirmation. However, you can register up until the day of class. Please note that some of our classes do close out and some of our classes do cancel, so you may be taking a chance of not getting into the course of your choice by waiting.

Online registration is available by clicking here.  You will be able to pay for your classes online by ACH check or by MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit card. If you pay by credit card there will be a fee of 2.75% for domestic cards and 4.25% for international cards added to the tuition. You can avoid the credit card fee by paying with a check online.

Phone in registration is available by calling 516.323.3550 with your MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit card. There will be a credit card fee of 2.75% for domestic cards and 4.25% for international cards added to the tuition.

Confirmation of your registration will be emailed to you upon receipt of your registration. Your classroom assignment will be emailed to you shortly before the start date of you class if it was not included in your confirmation.
