Faculty Awards
Each year Molloy University recognizes faculty for their accomplishments in the domains of leadership, research, scholarship, and teaching highlighting the University’s commitment to excellence. Attached to this memo is the list of Faculty Awards and the Award Selection Process for each.
Faculty are invited to nominate individuals for university-wide faculty awards. Nominations are due by Friday, December 6, 2024, and must include a letter with a rationale for the nomination, relating the nominee to the selection criteria. Please ensure that the letter of nomination is written in a format suitable for citation, as it will be used in the official announcement if the nominee is selected to receive the award.
Please submit letters of nominations to Lisa Lumley at llumley1@molloy.edu and Patricia Roth at proth@molloy.edu, Co-Chairs, Faculty Professional Center Faculty Recognition Subcommittee.
Faculty award recipients will be recognized at the President’s Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 9, 2025, at 4:00pm in the Madison Theatre.
