Connect
Molloy University will once again be offering a summer program, as well as a new full year program, called CONNECT for neurodivergent high school juniors and seniors who are college bound. CONNECT is a student-centered program for neurodivergent students with the goal of promoting academic and social competency, self-advocacy, interpersonal skills, independent living, and social integration: from pre-admission through the college experience. Our goal is to facilitate a full college experience. The summer program is open to any student, regardless of the school that they may be attending. The full year program is only open to students who have been accepted to Molloy either on a part-time of full-time basis.

2025 Summer CONNECT Program
Our fourth annual CONNECT summer program at Molloy University will be a hybrid course, which will run over the course of two weeks: In-person meetings will be from 9am - 3pm on Tuesday-Thursday July 22-24, and Tuesday-Thursday July 29-31. The remaining class time will be conducted online, asynchronously. The program is designed for neurodivergent individuals who are college-ready or currently enrolled. Students do not have to be going to Molloy to participate in the program. The daily in-person program will include a variety of activities to orient students identifying as neurodivergent to the college experience. Prior to the daily program, the student CONNECT experience begins with a program orientation and initial class meeting Thursday, June 26, 2025. It will be held in the Larini Room (2nd Floor of Public Square) from 5:00-7:00 pm. Following this June event, students will engage in a holistic, hybrid course integrating strengths-based methodology across the curriculum. Following the initial June class meeting, course engagement will occur asynchronously online, and then resume face-to-face meetings during the July 22 and 29 CONNECT weeks. While participating in the multi-faceted, face-to-face course activities, students will simultaneously engage with peers within the university atmosphere. At the conclusion of the experience, attendees will have earned one college credit and be further prepared for a successful campus experience. Molloy and non-Molloy students can take the summer program for 1 college credit. The program tuition to attend for non-Molloy students is $675 for 1 college credit and for Molloy students it is $1,200 plus fees for 1 college credit.
A Virtual Open House and Information Session for the fall and spring will be held on November 6 from 4-5 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. via Zoom. The CONNECT faculty and staff will discuss the program, admission requirements, the curriculum and our facilities. You will be able to attend the session using any type of device that has internet access: PC, Mac, tablet, even a smartphone. Click here to RSVP.
