Welcome from the President

Photo of President James LentiniIt is my pleasure to welcome you to Molloy University, a remarkable institution that is committed to student success through a values-based education rooted in the tradition of St. Dominic. I am honored to begin my tenure as the seventh President of Molloy University and look forward to working with the Molloy University community as we envision a bold new future where we expand our contributions to society through the pursuit of knowledge and care for our communities.

Molloy's academic programs in the arts and sciences, business, education and human services, and nursing and health sciences offer students opportunities to explore their passions, led by a faculty that are committed to educating the whole person. Beyond disciplinary expertise, students gain an understanding of the human spirit that helps them to thrive in their chosen professions and to make a positive difference in the world.

Founded in 1955 by the Dominican Sisters of Amityville, Molloy University has grown with over 50 academic programs serving more than 5,000 students. Ideally located in Rockville Centre, Long Island, in close proximity to New York City, our graduates have a distinct advantage in connecting to major businesses, healthcare institutions, educational resources and cultural organizations that benefit their career pursuits and opportunities.

I look forward to greeting you in person in the near future and growing together as Molloy University continues its forward momentum into a future of new accomplishments and possibilities.

Sincerely,

President James Lentini signature
