Molloy Violence Prevention (MVP)

What can I do prevent violence in my community?

Everybody has a role to play in creating a safer campus community. There are many ways you can be a part of the movement to end gender-based violence.

  • Start a conversation with your friends about consent, boundaries, and healthy relationships.
  • Educate yourself about policies and resources that are available to help individuals impacted by gender-based violence. Share these resources with your friends and colleagues.
  • Participate in a program or workshop offered by the MVP Ambassadors. Workshop topics range from bystander intervention, healthy relationships, boundary-setting, and more!
  • Attend a Coordinated Community Response Team meeting. This multidisciplinary group of students, employees, and community partners meets once per semester and more regularly in subcommittees to provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach to preventing and responding to gender-based violence.
