2024 Pre-College Summer Academies


Through these unique and exciting program opportunities, you'll participate in interactive discussions, hear from guest speakers, and engage in hands-on activities with our faculty and student ambassadors...all while earning 1 college credit. Enjoy socializing and networking with your fellow classmates during fun-filled campus events.

Our Academies are open to high school students entering their junior or senior year, as well as any accepted Freshman for the Fall of 2024 at Molloy University.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS JULY 1st, 2024.  ALL ACADEMIES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER JULY 1st, 2024.

This year our program takes place Monday, July 15th through Thursday, July 18th.

Students will have the option to stay in one of our residence halls or commute to and from campus each day.  

Residence Hall Program - Drop off Monday, July 15th at 9:00am and pick up Thursday, July 18th at 1:00pm.  Cost is $900. Meals and evening activities included.

Commuter Program - Drop off each day at 9:00am, pick up Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 4:00pm, Thursday at 1:00pm.  Cost is $400. Lunch is included.

  • School of Business - Business Boot Camp

    Experience a week of challenging, informative, and fun activities at Molloy University's Business Boot Camp!

    Students will be exposed to various business disciplines with professors who have experience in Accounting, Entertainment and Sports Management, Finance, Marketing Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and much more!

    You will learn how to swim with the sharks at our renowned Shark Tank competition.  You will learn how to make financial decisions during our Buy, Sell, Hold Trading competition with candy recommendations being the name of the game!  You'll need to put your thinking caps on for the Quiz Bowl competition, where students team up to make sure that they are not the weakest link!  These are just some of the interactive activities that will help you choose your own career path.

  • The Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences - Compassionate Healthcare Academy

    Engage in exciting hands-on learning inside and outside the university classroom to understand the science of healthcare in nursing, cardiovascular technology, nuclear medicine technology, respiratory care, speech language pathology (speech therapy) and audiology.  Learn how clinicians are making a difference supporting diverse patients in each of these disciplines and experience the opportunity to self-identify a future career path.

  • School of Education and Human Services - Summer Teaching Academy

    Calling all future teachers!  If you are interested in teaching or working with youth in any capacity, this program is for you.  This hands-on, interactive week of workshops will give you the opportunity to explore various components of teaching and learning including the role of social workers in the school.  You will create learning materials and design lessons while fostering a love for and appreciation of this incredibly fulfilling career.

  • School of Arts and Sciences - Digital Media Production and Art Adventure Academy

    This is a hands-on course for students interested in digital media production and art.  Students participating will have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills in creating content including screenwriting, television production, video editing, and game design.  During Art Adventure students will have studio experiences in design, painting and drawing in abstract and representational styles.  At the end of the course, students will present their work to students and faculty in both departments.
