Acceptance into the program is based on the following broad set of requirements:
- Successful completion of a Master's degree in education or related field
- 3.5 GPA in graduate studies
- A minimum of three years of post-Master's employment preferred
- Professional goal statement
- Sample of scholarly writing such as Master's thesis, other academic paper or previous publications
- Current teaching/administrative license or other comparable professional licensure in a related field (if applicable)
- Reference letters from three academic or employment-related professionals
- An interview with the Doctoral Admissions Committee
