    The mission of Chi Sigma Iota is "to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling." (CSI, 2025). As such, the Mu Chi Nu Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) at Molloy University is dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of clinical mental health counseling. As a proud chapter of the international honor society for professional counselors, Mu Chi Nu upholds the values of scholarship, leadership, and service in our student led honor society. Our chapter provides a supportive and enriching environment for students, alumni, and faculty members who are committed to advancing the counseling profession. We offer opportunities for professional development, community service, and networking, as well as fostering a collaborative learning community.

    Members of the Mu Chi Nu Chapter benefit from:

Students are eligible to join CSI following their first 9 graduate credits, hold a 3.5 GPA or higher, and have faculty endorsement.
