Computer Information Systems is the application of technology in managing the needs of an organization

Computer Information Systems is the application of technology in managing the needs of businesses, nonprofits, and governments. Unlike Computer Science, where it focuses on designing new algorithms, Computer Information Systems focuses on using algorithms to solve problems.

Upon entering the Computer Information Systems program you will take a broad mixture of courses in Computer Science, Accounting, Business, Economics and Math.
