Learning Services Student Advisory Group (LS/SAG)
About LS/SAG
The intent of the Learning Services Student Advisory Group (LS/SAG) is to assemble a diverse group of undergraduates and seek opinions and feedback on various aspects of library and learning services. A one hour meeting is scheduled each month that focuses on a specific theme or service, so we can fully explore all relevant aspects such as facilities, policies or its effectiveness for students.
The purpose of this advisory group is also to establish a dialog between students, administrators, and stakeholders in charge of delivering the services to you, as well as create a student-to-student communication channel between a consistent core group of student volunteers and their peers.
Meeting dates for the 2024-2025 academic year are as follows:
- October 22, 2024
- November 12, 2024
- January 28, 2025
- March 11, 2025
- April 1, 2025
All meetings will convene at 5pm-6pm. Please check the schedule below for topics and locations.
Consider becoming a core member and make a difference!
It’s our hope the LS/SAG will improve the administration’s understanding of what services and spaces students believe are necessary to achieve academic success because we will hear what you want, not what we think you want. While monthly meetings are open to everyone, we are actively seeking student volunteers for members of the core group!
