Academic Resources
Supporting students and faculty
Molloy University has a number of services and programs designed to support students’ academic pursuits, maximize learning and take full advantage of the robust programs of study.
Honor Societies
Students who excel academically and contribute to Molloy University and the community may apply to join honor societies. The University offers membership opportunities in two societies, Omicron Alpha Zeta and Delta Epsilon Sigma. A number of Molloy University departments participate in national honor societies specific to their area of study. Information on program-specific honor societies can be found on their department pages.

Delta Epsilon Sigma
The Gamma Omega Chapter of Delta Epsilon Sigma is the National Scholastic Honor Society for Catholic colleges. Undergraduate and Master’s degree students are eligible for this society. Undergraduate juniors and seniors with a minimum cumulative index of 3.75 at the end of the fall semester and have earned at least 64 credits at Molloy University are eligible for membership. Master’s degree students who have earned a 4.0 GPA overall and have completed a minimum of 18 credits at Molloy University at the end of the fall semester are eligible for membership. In addition to meeting the academic requirements, students must provide direct service to others. Service provided should be unrelated to major or course requirements (i.e., internship, career experience). Students, eligible for induction, will be required to submit documentation of service given. Invitations to those eligible are emailed annually in late January, and recognition of this achievement is awarded with a pin and certificate.
