Steve Hietsch currently serves as the Interim Chief Financial Officer for Molloy University.  In this role, he oversees the following areas of the university:  finance/budgeting/accounting, investments, treasury, facilities, dining services, spirit store, mail room, risk management, and compliance.  Prior to joining Molloy in July of 2024, Steve served as the Vice President for Finance and Administration at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.  He has worked at two other colleges:  Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, PA.  In addition to his work in higher education, Steve served as a municipal manager.

Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Penn State University, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Penn State University, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
