  • Coming Together Conference

    Greetings CTC Family,

We are thrilled to invite you all to the 27th Annual Coming Together Conference (CTC), a space that will bring together practitioners and partners in the higher education landscape to focus on conversations, and communities committed to access and success.

This year’s theme “Centering Us: Our Work, Our Communities, & Ourselvescarries forward the importance of lifting the voices, and needs of these communities, while also centering those practitioners supporting said communities during a time of constant change. A year that has presented challenge after challenge.

As the CTC Co-Chairs (Lauren Quigley of AECI Charter Schools Network & Emmanuel Moses of The Opportunity Network), we are thrilled to hold space, and provide a community for all practitioners in the field of a day and half of programming. We also have to shout out our amazing CTC Programming Committee as they were essential in helping craft this year’s offerings (and putting together this amazing one-pager):

    • Four educational blocks with topics focused not only on the communities being served, but also the support and growth for practitioners
    • A Keynote Panel with leaders from the field, Vern Granger, John Hollemon, & Shameek Robinson, shedding light on what the future holds, and how we sustain ourselves moving forward
    • A CTC Social which will take us back to what may have been simpler (but not really) times, with a 90’s Theme
    • A Closing “Staying Together” Session brought to us former CTC Co-Chair, NYSACAC VP of Professional Development, CACNY Board Chair, and current Executive Director of NYC DOE’s College & Career Planning Team, Kristen Harris

We all look forward to seeing you all at Molloy on June 4th and 5th, as well continuing this work, and these conversations into the rest of annual conference, and beyond.

    Best,

    Quigs & Manny
