Campus Facilities
Molloy University is comprised of the main campus in Rockville Centre, NY, with additional locations in downtown Rockville Centre (at 30 Hempstead Avenue), Manhattan Center at 50 Broadway, Suffolk Center in Farmingdale and the Center for Environmental Research and Coastal Oceans Monitoring (CERCOM) on the Atlantic Ocean in West Sayville, NY.
The Public Square student center is a hub for student activity – grab a coffee at Starbucks, or pick up a quick bite to eat. A full suite of desktop computers and printers are available, along with lounges and study rooms. The Public Square is home to the Office of Student Life, MolloyLife Media, student government and Campus Ministries, along with the Career Center and Office of International Education. The Madison Theatre is part of the Public Square complex, and features a 550-seat theatre.
The Rockville Centre Campus is constantly in motion, hosting activities indoors and out. From a pickup game of flag football to bubble soccer to smores over the fire, something is always happening on campus. There are also spaces for study, contemplation, conversation, and relaxation. In addition to the Sacred Heart Chapel, members of the Molloy University community enjoy the Grotto, residential quad, Shakespeare Garden, and restful areas with flowering trees, evergreen and flower beds with benches and tables. In nice weather you’ll find classes being conducted throughout the campus.
Residential students may choose to live in Bogner, Fitzgerald or Maria Regina Halls, which surround McGovern Plaza – a campus oasis with lounge chairs, picnic tables, gardens and artwork for contemplation and relaxation. Quealy Gymnasium on the Rockville Centre campus is home to the fitness center, which is available to students and employees. The black box Hays Theatre in the Wilbur Arts Center hosts performances, lectures, community gatherings and activities, and art exhibitions are on display in the Kellenberg Hall Art Gallery.
