Women's Affinity Group
Purpose
The purpose of the Women’s Affinity Group (WAG) at Molloy University (MU) is to:
- Build and create a sense of community
- Develop a community and network that supports Women faculty, staff and administrators as an integral part of the MU community
- Advocate for and support the recruitment, retention, and advancement of Women faculty, staff and administrators
- Give voice to concerns of Women faculty, staff and administrators on campus
- Provide a safe space to share thoughts, feelings, and opinions that impact the Molloy University community
- Professional growth and development
- Collaborate with Human Resources and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Network and collaborate
- Develop relationships with other Women’s affinity groups at higher education institutions across the country, but particularly in the NY metropolitan area, to build connections and relationships based on shared interests and goals
